CYPSY24 will be held at Norfolk State University, located in Norfolk, Virginia, USA. The university is located<\/a> at the south-eastern portion of Virginia, close to the North Carolina border. Norfolk is approximately 200 miles (322 km) from Washington D.C., which is less than 1 hour by plane,\u00a0between 3 and 4 hours by car depending on traffic, and about 5 hours by train (Amtrak<\/a>).<\/p>\n

About the Conference<\/h3>\n

The CYPSY Conference began in 1996 and featured presentations dealing mainly with conceptual matters, \u2018what ifs\u2019 and the future possibilities of healthcare and technology. The conference largely focused on Virtual Reality, but has now grown to be more inclusive of other interactive technologies and to include presentations that demonstrate controlled clinical trials. It has also grown to include the investigation of social networking tools on individual behavior, society, and interpersonal relationships.<\/p>\n

This conference is held in Virginia, USA. The official language is English as spoken in the United States. All presentations (unless advertised otherwise) will be in English.<\/p>\n
