Submission: General Information

You can submit an abstract to one of the following three "types" of communications: a) Poster, b) Oral, c) Symposium. The difference between an oral presentation and a symposium is that independent oral presentations will be regrouped together by the Organizing Committee according to keywords provided by the authors, while a symposium consists of a group of four or five oral presentations selected and submitted together by one symposium chair.

Poster and Oral Presentation Guidelines
For general info, check here.

If you would like to present a poster, an oral presentation or a symposium, please submit an abstract for Organizing Committee to review. The Organizing Committee will review all abstracts and may invite author(s) to make a poster presentation at the conference even if they requested an oral presentation. The oral/poster/reject decision is at the discretion of the Committee.

The abstract submission deadline is February 20th, 2006.

Abstracts are peer-reviewed and will be selected based on scientific merit. Abstracts should clearly outline results from scientific studies. Selected full papers will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be distributed after the conference. All accepted abstracts will be published in CyberPsychology & Behavior Journal, a peer-reviewed journal which is indexed in both MedLine and PsycInfo. Full 2005 abstract are now available in CyberPsychology & Behavior. Acceptance letters of program participation will be on March 6th, 2006.

It is required that all conference presenters register for the conference by June 6th, 2006 or they will have their papers withdrawn.

Registration Issues
Presenters must register for the conference. There is a limit of one oral presentation as first author per presenter/registration (excluding workshops).

The Conference Proceedings will be published by IMI. If you have questions about these guidelines, please write to: cybertherapy@vrphobia.com.
